Most of the services covered are included in your price, while some others offer a substantial discount: - Train: On all scheduled services wholly within Scotland, including to and from Carlisle and Berwick-Upon-Tweed
- Subway: Travel on Glasgow Subway is included within the Travelpass
- Tram: Travel on Edinburgh Trams services is included within the Travelpass

- Spirit of Scotland Travelpasses are valid for travel in Standard Class only.
- Upgrades to First Class are not available.
- Weekday and Weekend First Supplements are not valid in conjunction with Spirit of Scotland Travelpass tickets.
- Reservations are not required, however if travelling on a reservable route then a complimentary seat reservation should be made.
- Reservations can be made up to 12 weeks in advance.
- 50% discount for children aged 5-15. Under 5's travel free.
- Standard National Railcard discounts apply.
- Refunds are available, subject to a £10 administration fee, for each unused ticket surrendered before the first date of travel.
- Customers can change their travel plans, as they have unlimited travel, but they cannot change the travel validity period.
- Customers can break their journey as they have unlimited travel.
