1. The Valley Lines Senior Railcard offers 50% off Standard Day Return standard class rail fares on the Valley Lines.
2. And can be used on selected services timed to arrive into Cardiff after 09.29.
3. The railcard is available to anyone aged 60 or over and costs £5.00 valid for one year.

1. As an alternative to the Valleys Senior Railcard, Transport for Wales now also offer a 34% discount on the same routes for customers presenting a Concessionary Card provided by their local council.
2. These are available to buy on the train and at any staffed station on the Cardiff Valley Lines network.
3. The discount is valid all day on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays.
4. On Mondays to Fridays, the discount is valid on all trains arriving at Cardiff Central at 09:29 or later, for the entire duration of the train's journey.
